Sandan Sensei David Govoni

Sensei David Govoni is a Sandan in the art of Yama Ryu Ju Jutsu, and has over 38 years of knowledge and experience in the martial arts.  Sensei Govoni is a lifetime member of the USJA, the NJA, and a board certified instructor and co-founder of the Chi Martial Arts Federation.  He has been teaching Ju Jutsu for over 20 years in Florida, Missouri, and Massachusetts and continues to instruct regular classes and seminars.   

Sensei Govoni is the lead instructor for the State of Connecticut Department of Corrections. He provides instruction to all new and experienced corrections officers on how to defend themselves, and safely manage physical altercations with the most dangerous inmates in the state.
